North bypass road Bled

Road infrastructure North bypass road Bled

The north bypass road, the construction of which began in 2017, will replace the existing regional road that passes through the settlement and heavily burdens the residential and tourist area of Bled. In the context of the construction of a bypass road, which will be more than two kilometres and a half long, two roads (Ljubljanska cesta and Rečiška cesta) will also be reconstructed.

Four crossings and several junctions will be constructed in the area of the newly built bypass road. Four bridges will be built: two on the newly built section and two on the municipal roads. Within the framework of the investment sustainable water management arrangements on watercourses, noise barriers and landscape arrangements will also be carried out.
