DRI again participated in the international conference on road safety in local communities, held 18-21 April at Kopaonik, Serbia.
At the conference Mr. Robert Strah, MSc. presented Guidelines for School Paths, which has contributed to positive changes in preventive-educational, traffic and infrastructure measures in Slovenia, all of which is also reflected in improved traffic safety.
The Guidelines were presented as an example of good practice, effective at both the local and national levels. Due to the topic’s nature, the presentation reaped great of interest among the participants of the conference and thus opened the door for new business opportunities.
Participation in the international experts event, which hosted more than 400 representatives of local communities, educational and scientific institutions, public and private institutions and companies, was an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and to strengthen the reputation among the professional public in the wider region.
